All needlepoint kits have the design stamped on the canvas in colour. They come complete with STRAND unique mohair/wool yarn to finish the design and a needle. A chart is also included.
All designs are printed on 18 count canvas unless stated otherwise. Some designs are also available on 14 count canvas, if you think this would be better for you to stitch please email us and we will let you know the price and availability.

Greenstone Carving
Jade known as Poenamu in Maori was widely used for intricate Maori carving. The grrenstone was greatly prized for its beauty and strength.

Bone Carving
The Maori used to carve the bones of whales they slaughtered. The koru which our design recalls is derived from the leaf of the New Zealand fern.
